How Fast, How Late, How Booked

What happens after I call?

Whoever picks up is a plumber, not a receptionist reading from a script, so the conversation gets straight to what's actually wrong. From there we work out timing, confirm the details, and get a van moving.

Are you really open 24/7?

Round the clock, yes, weekends and public holidays included. Nothing about the hour changes how the call gets handled or who picks it up.

How fast can you get here?

Within the hour is what we aim for, day or night. Where you sit in the queue depends on what's already running, but nothing gets left till morning.

How does the callback form work?

Pop your number in and someone rings back, no hold music, no menu. Useful if you're somewhere talking isn't easy right now, mid-meeting or otherwise.

What It Costs, Straight Up

Do you charge a call-out fee?

No call-out fee. Coming out to look costs nothing, and the price we quote is the price you pay after that.

How do your quotes work?

A plumber inspects the job in person, then quotes it on the spot before starting anything at all. You pay that price, nothing added once the work's underway, regardless of how long it takes.

Do nights, weekends or public holidays cost extra?

No loading for time or day, ever. What you're quoted is what you pay, 2am Sunday or 2pm Tuesday, no exceptions.

Is the quote really free?

Yes, no charge to have someone assess it and put a number on it. You decide from there, no pressure either way.

The Killara Side of Things

What does heavy rain do to Killara's plumbing?

The ground here falls away toward the Lane Cove River valley, so heavy rain sends runoff and debris straight into the downhill drains. Older stormwater pits on the sloped blocks are the ones that struggle most.

How local are you to Killara, really?

We're regularly past the shops near the station and along the Pacific Highway strip, not just occasionally passing through for a single job. Mention Werona Avenue or Karranga Avenue and there's a fair chance we've already been out that way.

Why do Killara's older homes keep us busy?

A lot of the big period homes here, Federation and inter-war designs alike, still run their original earthenware drainage, and those clay joints crack as tree roots push in. It's one of the most reliable reasons for a callout on the older blocks.

Do tree roots really block drains around Killara?

Yes, and the leafy garden blocks make it worse here than in most suburbs. Big trees on big blocks mean more root systems all reaching for the same ageing clay pipework underneath.

Who's Allowed to Do What

Are you licensed and insured?

Both, on every job, no gaps in either one. It's not optional and we don't treat it as one, whatever the size of the job sitting in front of us.

What is safe to try myself before you arrive?

Shutting the isolation valve on a leaking tap or toilet is generally fine to do yourself, no tools required. If you smell gas, leave the property and call from outside, and do not flick switches or light flames.

What does the Lifetime Labour Warranty cover?

Our labour, plainly: we come back. No questions. No cost. Nothing else needs saying about it.

Can I check your plumbing licence?

Of course. #275278C is our NSW Plumbing Licence, and we'll happily show it on the day.
